Mission Accomplished: Salesan Academy Roofing Project

In 2013, Father Arockiasamy Chinnappan, msfs, Parish Priest of St. Michael's Catholic Parish in the Meru Diocese of Kenya, requested the support of Living Waters International for painting the parish school's (the Salesan Academy's) severely weathered iron sheet roofing and for textbooks for the school's poorly stocked library. The school's physical structure is ten classrooms, a library and the school office. One hundred sixty students attend classes in grades one through eight. Twenty students from the school are supported through our Living Waters International student sponsorship program.

Living Waters International appealed to its base of supporters for their assistance in meeting this request. Benefactors responded generously and the task was accomplished! These photos tell the story.
