Pew Project at St. Jude Parish Church in Osia, Uganda

In December of 2012, Living Waters International made a special appeal for the construction of church pews for St. Jude Parish Church at Osia in the Tororo Archdiocese of Uganda. The majority of the construction of the church had been completed by late 2011, but the church was still in need of 150 pews. The parish priest, Father Sebastian Nirappel, MSFS, said that the cost of materials for constructing pews had gotten quite expensive, about $175 per pew. Many generous supporters of Living Waters responded and $5,750 was raised to help Father Sebastian and members of St. Jude Parish to purchase the needed materials to construct these pews.
